Job Description

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited online applications for the post of Project Engineer-I on a temporary basis for its Naval Systems (S&CS) Strategic Business Unit. Eligible engineering graduates with relevant work experience can apply online before 04 July 2026.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer-I at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), you will be responsible for:

Install, commission, and maintain electronic and electrical systems for defence and naval projects.
Support the integration, testing, and deployment of communication and embedded systems.
Configure and troubleshoot data networks, server storage, and networking equipment.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of VSAT communication systems and voice/video networking infrastructure.
Perform system testing, diagnostics, and technical support activities at project sites.
Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful project execution.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and installation records.
Travel to customer locations across India for installation, commissioning, testing, and product support as required.
Ensure compliance with BEL quality standards, safety procedures, and project timelines.
Provide post-installation maintenance and technical support for deployed defence systems.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Full-Time B.E./B.Tech degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized University or Institution:

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering (SSI Post Only)
