As a Junior QA Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

You will prepare test cases, execute different types of manual testing, validate APIs and databases, report defects, participate in Agile development, and contribute to delivering reliable web and mobile applications.

This role provides excellent exposure to software quality assurance, manual testing methodologies, fintech applications, Agile practices, and modern testing tools.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements and user stories.

- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and usability testing.

- Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

- Identify, document, track, and validate software defects.

- Perform SQL-based database validation.

- Verify API functionality and responses.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release testing.

- Maintain testing documentation and quality reports.

- Continuously improve testing knowledge and product understanding.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Freshers and candidates with internship or project experience can apply.

- Strong understanding of Software Testing fundamentals.

- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

- Ability to design test cases and bug reports.

- Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.

- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
