As a Test Development Engineer, you will contribute to the development of manufacturing test strategies for Cisco's next-generation AI-optimized networking platforms. You will design automated testing solutions, improve manufacturing efficiency, perform product failure analysis, and support product launches across global manufacturing sites.

This role provides hands-on experience with Python automation, hardware testing, manufacturing engineering, data analytics, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration while working on enterprise-grade networking products.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop manufacturing test strategies for next-generation networking products.

- Design and deploy automated board-level and system-level functional tests.

- Build Python-based automation scripts for manufacturing test processes.

- Analyze manufacturing data to improve product quality and test efficiency.

- Perform product failure analysis and fault isolation.

- Support debugging of hardware and system-level issues.

- Collaborate with hardware, software, and supply chain teams across global locations.

- Assist during prototype builds and production ramp-up activities.

- Improve manufacturing yield, quality, and operational efficiency.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.

- 0–2 years of experience.

- Basic understanding of product development lifecycle.

- Knowledge of Python programming.

- Basic understanding of hardware communication protocols.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
