Job Description

𝐂𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 is hiring Software Tester Freshers for its client in Pune. This opportunity is ideal for 2024 and 2025 graduates who are passionate about Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, SQL, and Software Quality Assurance.

As a Software Tester, you'll work on real-world testing projects involving functional, regression, smoke, API, and performance testing. You'll also gain exposure to Agile development, defect tracking tools, and automation testing practices while building a strong foundation in Software Quality Assurance.

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

As a Software Tester, you'll participate in both Manual and Automation Testing activities to ensure software quality and reliability. You'll design test cases, execute different testing types, report defects, validate applications, and collaborate with Agile development teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

This role is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain practical experience in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases.

• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, API, and Performance Testing.

• Identify, document, and track software defects using Bugzilla and JIRA.

• Perform database validation and SQL-based testing.

• Debug automation scripts and resolve testing issues.

• Participate in code reviews and improve automation quality.

• Analyze test execution results and recommend improvements.

• Work closely with Agile teams and support CI/CD testing workflows.

• Prepare documentation for SDLC and Test Development Life Cycle (TDLC).

• Prioritize multiple testing tasks while meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• BE/B.Tech (Computer Science/IT)

OR

• 3-Year Bachelor's Degree (CS/IT) + Master's Degree (CS/IT)

• Pass-out Year: 2024 or 2025

• Minimum 60% throughout academics.

• Freshers should possess a Software Testing Certification.

• Candidates must have their own laptop/system.
