Digantara is hiring Software Development Engineers (SDE-I) for its Data Platform team in Bengaluru. The company develops advanced hardware and software platforms that monitor, process, and analyze space data, enabling organizations to make informed decisions through real-time situational awareness and space mission assurance.

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

As an SDE-I (Data Platform), you will build and maintain scalable data pipelines, backend APIs, workflow orchestration systems, and cloud-native services that support Digantara's Space Mission Assurance Platform. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to process mission-critical space data and improve platform reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.

- Build Apache Airflow workflows for operational datasets.

- Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and queries.

- Develop backend APIs and data services.

- Support Docker-based containerized deployments.

- Contribute to CI/CD workflows and automation.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipeline reliability.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with software, platform, and domain teams.

- Support continuous improvement of the data platform.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.

- 1+ years of experience in backend development or data engineering.

- Strong programming knowledge in Python.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
