As an Associate Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend applications and cloud-based services using Python, MySQL, and Microsoft Azure. You'll work closely with senior engineers, product owners, QA teams, and business analysts while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise application development, API integration, cloud deployment, database optimization, and Agile software development.

This role provides excellent exposure to Python development, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, MySQL, Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud-native engineering practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.

- Build and maintain scalable application features and backend services.

- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schema updates.

- Design, build, and integrate REST APIs with internal and third-party systems.

- Deploy, monitor, and support applications on Microsoft Azure.

- Debug and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.

- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

- Collaborate with product owners, QA engineers, business analysts, and operations teams.

- Prepare technical documentation for developed components and services.

- Contribute to Agile Scrum ceremonies and continuous software improvement.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 0–2 years of software development experience (internships and academic projects are considered).

- Strong understanding of Python programming.

- Good knowledge of MySQL databases and SQL queries.

- Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.

- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and Git.

- Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
