As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will provide first-level technical support for enterprise users by resolving hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues. You'll help maintain desktop environments, configure systems, support IT operations, and ensure users receive timely technical assistance.

This role provides valuable exposure to enterprise IT support, desktop administration, endpoint security, networking, and system maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

- Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software.

- Set up new workstations and IT peripherals.

- Perform system updates, patch management, antivirus scans, and backups.

- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connectivity issues.

- Maintain IT asset inventory and software licenses.

- Document technical procedures, support activities, and knowledge base articles.

- Ensure endpoint security and compliance with IT policies.

- Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and application support teams.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline.

- 0–3 years of experience in Desktop Support or IT Support.

- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems.

- Basic understanding of computer hardware and peripherals.

- Familiarity with networking concepts such as LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and customer support abilities.
