As a Data Quality Specialist, you will support the Data Operations team by monitoring data quality issues, validating banking data using SQL, assisting in root cause analysis, maintaining documentation, and preparing MIS reports. You'll collaborate with business and technology teams to improve data quality and ensure compliance with banking and regulatory standards.

This role provides valuable exposure to data governance, banking operations, regulatory reporting, SQL, and enterprise data management.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Monitor and track data quality issues across banking systems.

- Assist in root cause analysis and issue resolution.

- Coordinate with business and technology teams for timely issue closure.

- Track SLA and turnaround time for data quality issues.

- Prepare and maintain data definitions and process documentation.

- Create and maintain data mapping documentation.

- Write SQL queries to validate and analyze data.

- Identify data exceptions and support quality checks.

- Prepare periodic MIS reports and data quality dashboards.

- Support implementation of data quality rules and profiling checks.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in B.Com, B.Sc, BA, BBI, BMS, or related discipline.

- MBA, M.Com, or MA candidates are also eligible.

- 0–2 years of relevant experience.

- Basic knowledge of SQL.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

- Attention to detail and willingness to learn banking operations.

- Basic understanding of data lifecycle and data quality concepts.
