As a Junior Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of infrastructure systems. You will gain exposure to observability tools, cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and incident management processes while working closely with engineering and operations teams.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist in implementing infrastructure and observability solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Support monitoring systems that track application performance, infrastructure health, and operational metrics.
• Help create and maintain dashboards, logs, metrics, and tracing systems for improved visibility.
• Assist in identifying performance bottlenecks and contribute to system optimization efforts.
• Participate in troubleshooting and incident response activities while learning root cause analysis techniques.
• Work with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, and VictoriaMetrics.
• Help configure and maintain monitoring alerts to ensure timely issue detection.
• Analyze system performance data and assist teams in resolving infrastructure-related issues.
• Support automation initiatives by developing scripts for repetitive operational tasks.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Assist with capacity planning and infrastructure scaling activities.
• Maintain dashboards that provide real-time visibility into system performance and health.
Qualifications & Eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Equivalent bootcamp, self-learning, or practical experience may also be considered.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Internship, project, or co-op experience is valuable.
Skills Required
• Basic understanding of system monitoring and observability concepts.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of containerization concepts including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Basic networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, and access control concepts.
• Understanding of Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
