As a Jr. Software Platform Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-powered applications and intelligent automation solutions. You'll collaborate with senior engineers to build AI agents, LLM applications, Python backend services, APIs, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows for enterprise use cases.

This role provides hands-on exposure to Agentic AI frameworks, cloud-native development, Azure AI services, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI governance, and modern software engineering practices while helping deliver scalable AI solutions for business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist in designing, developing, and testing AI agents, Generative AI applications, and LLM-powered solutions.

- Build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows using embeddings, vector databases, and context engineering.

- Develop Python backend services, APIs, and integration components for AI applications.

- Collaborate with senior engineers to create multi-agent workflows and AI orchestration pipelines.

- Support the development of enterprise AI platforms using Azure AI Foundry and related cloud technologies.

- Translate business requirements into AI-enabled software solutions.

- Test, validate, and evaluate LLM responses while implementing AI guardrails and quality checks.

- Maintain technical documentation for prompts, workflows, APIs, and AI system behavior.

- Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.

- Continuously learn and contribute to enterprise AI engineering best practices.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Strong understanding of Python programming and software development fundamentals.

- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend application development.

- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models.

- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
