𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰
As an Associate Threat Response Analyst, you will be part of Mimecast's global Threat Response Operations team, supporting customers by analyzing email-borne threats, investigating phishing campaigns, improving threat detection, and recommending remediation actions. You'll work closely with research, engineering, and customer support teams while gaining hands-on experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze phishing campaigns and malicious emails to identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
- Investigate email security incidents and recommend remediation actions.
- Categorize email threats and improve detection accuracy.
- Provide customers with email security guidance and configuration recommendations.
- Research emerging phishing techniques and cyber threats.
- Collaborate with threat intelligence teams and security researchers.
- Work with global engineering and customer support teams to resolve security incidents.
- Support continuous improvement of security detection processes.
- Contribute to threat research and operational documentation.
- Help strengthen customer protection through proactive threat analysis.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of email security technologies including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
- Knowledge of networking concepts such as SMTP, SSL/TLS, POP3, IMAP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
- Familiarity with phishing attacks, malware detection, and email routing.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical findings in customer-friendly language.
