As a Junior Test Engineer, you will support enterprise data migration and modernization projects by validating data accuracy, executing ETL and data warehouse testing, performing SQL-based validations, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure reliable and high-quality data delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Execute SQL-based data validation between source and target systems.

- Perform row count, aggregate, schema, and data quality validations.

- Validate ETL workflows and data migration processes.

- Test Databricks notebooks and Snowflake data pipelines.

- Validate dbt models and transformed datasets.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and data migration testing.

- Verify business rules after migration activities.

- Monitor ETL pipelines and identify data anomalies.

- Log defects with detailed evidence using defect tracking tools.

- Retest resolved issues and support regression testing cycles.

- Maintain test cases, execution logs, and validation documentation.

- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams for root cause analysis.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in ETL or Data Warehouse Testing.

- Experience in data migration or modernization projects is preferred.

- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
