As a Security Engineer (L1), you will provide first-level technical support for enterprise security solutions by diagnosing incidents, resolving technical issues, monitoring service delivery, and maintaining service quality. You will work with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems, and proxy solutions while ensuring customer service excellence and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in cybersecurity operations, technical troubleshooting, and enterprise security support.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Provide remote technical support for enterprise security solutions.

- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve security-related incidents.

- Monitor service delivery and ensure SLA compliance.

- Troubleshoot firewalls, IDS, IPS, and proxy-related issues.

- Perform incident logging, tracking, and documentation.

- Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineering teams.

- Execute routine maintenance and configuration management tasks.

- Analyze service records and recommend process improvements.

- Maintain accurate technical documentation and knowledge articles.

- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.

- Support service recovery and root cause analysis activities.

- Deliver excellent customer support throughout the incident lifecycle.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network security concepts.

- Understanding of technical troubleshooting methodologies.

- Good communication and customer support skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Willingness to learn enterprise security technologies.

- Relevant associate-level certifications are an added advantage.
