As a Quality Assurance Apprentice, you will perform comprehensive quality checks on computer-based examinations using Pearson's proprietary testing tools. You will execute test plans, validate exam functionality, identify defects, document issues, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high-quality exam delivery.

This apprenticeship provides practical experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, documentation, defect tracking, and enterprise-quality standards while working with experienced professionals.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end quality assurance testing for computer-based examinations.

- Execute test plans and validate exam functionality.

- Test navigation, scoring, usability, and overall user experience.

- Identify, document, and track software defects.

- Validate exam content using internal tools and XML/HTML-based applications.

- Use Microsoft Excel and reporting systems for quality tracking.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

- Maintain project documentation and testing records.

- Prioritize assigned tasks while meeting project deadlines.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and testing processes.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

- Recent graduates or candidates with less than one year of experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
