𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

As a Graduate Trainee – SOC Operations Analyst, you will support the Security Operations Center by maintaining documentation, monitoring security events, creating infrastructure diagrams, documenting security workflows, and assisting with cybersecurity operations. You'll work alongside experienced security professionals while gaining practical exposure to enterprise security tools, incident response processes, and cloud security technologies.

This role offers hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, cloud security, security architecture, technical documentation, and cybersecurity operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Maintain and update SOC process documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

- Create and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure diagrams for security tools and integrations.

- Document security alert flows, escalation paths, and security control dependencies.

- Support internal knowledge base articles, onboarding documentation, and architecture inventories.

- Improve documentation by converting existing operational knowledge into standardized references.

- Assist with Tier 1 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring activities.

- Build and maintain a centralized security architecture diagram library.

- Document log sources, security detection coverage, and incident response workflows.

- Map relationships between SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, cloud security, ticketing systems, and other security technologies.

- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to improve operational visibility and documentation quality.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Foundational understanding of cybersecurity concepts and security operations.

- Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, IAM, Cloud Security, and networking fundamentals.

- Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
