Sandisk is hiring Engineers – Systems Design Engineering for its Bengaluru office. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career engineers who are passionate about Embedded Systems, Hardware Design, Storage Technologies, C/C++, Python, and next-generation Solid-State Drive (SSD) development.

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will contribute to the development of next-generation storage products, collaborate with ASIC, Firmware, Hardware, and Validation teams, create product specifications, perform system debugging, and help deliver innovative flash memory solutions used worldwide.

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

As a Systems Design Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design, validate, and optimize next-generation SSD products. You'll contribute to system architecture, create design specifications, analyze technical trade-offs, troubleshoot complex system issues, and support product development from concept through validation.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop product design specifications and system test objectives.

- Understand customer requirements and drive design improvements.

- Collaborate with ASIC, Hardware, Firmware, and Validation teams.

- Support system design from concept to implementation and validation.

- Perform system debugging and failure analysis.

- Analyze technical trade-offs related to performance, cost, and schedule.

- Create technical specifications and documentation.

- Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning.

- Study emerging storage technologies and industry trends.

- Contribute to innovative SSD product development.

Qualifications & Eligibility

- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related fields.

- M.E./M.Tech in Embedded Systems, VLSI, or Microelectronics is also eligible.

- Fresh graduates and early-career engineers can apply.

- Academic projects related to Embedded Systems or Hardware Design are preferred.
