As a Software Quality Engineer I, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual tests for enterprise software products. Working alongside developers, product managers, and global engineering teams, you'll help ensure software quality through automation, testing strategies, defect analysis, and continuous improvement.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in Software Testing, Automation Engineering, DevOps, and Quality Assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for backend, UI, and API testing to improve product quality and test coverage.

• Work with senior engineers to design effective testing strategies that validate both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Build, configure, and maintain test environments while supporting CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

• Analyze product requirements and convert them into well-structured test cases and automation scenarios.

• Execute both automated and manual tests to identify defects, performance issues, and unexpected system behavior.

• Investigate test failures, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.

• Work closely with Product Management, R&D, and global teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

• Contribute to improving automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall quality engineering practices.

• Support testing across Linux and Windows environments while working with databases, servers, and networking components.

• Continuously explore new automation tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and product reliability.

Qualifications & Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 0–3 years of experience in Software Testing, Automation, or Quality Engineering.

• Fresh graduates with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required

• Good scripting knowledge in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting.

• Understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance practices.

• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Basic knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation workflows.

• Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.

• Basic understanding of Git or other version control systems.

• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
