As a Software Engineer (Technical Implementation) Apprentice, you will support enterprise software implementation projects by assisting with application configuration, SQL-based data validation, software development, testing, automation, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. You'll receive structured training while working with experienced consultants and engineering teams on real-world investment management solutions.
This apprenticeship provides valuable exposure to enterprise software engineering, FinTech, cloud technologies, software implementation, and investment management systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support enterprise software implementation projects.
- Assist in configuring application components based on business requirements.
- Write SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Perform data reconciliation and verification activities.
- Develop simple programs, utilities, and automation scripts.
- Participate in functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Investigate and troubleshoot application issues.
- Learn and follow Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Prepare technical documentation, test cases, and implementation guides.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Professional Services teams.
- Participate in technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Follow secure coding and software quality best practices.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience, including internships or academic projects.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals.
- Knowledge of Java or C# programming.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for software development and continuous learning.
